Dragonheart and Dragongirl continue stories set around dragonriders, Weyrs and the practical demands of surviving Threadfall. His books are adventure-led and continuity-heavy, combining dragons with the science-fiction foundations of Pern rather than treating the setting as conventional medieval fantasy.
