Cassandra Clare's Last Hours trilogy follows a younger generation of Shadowhunters in Edwardian London, especially Cordelia Carstairs, James Herondale, Lucie Herondale and their circle of friends. Set after The Infernal Devices, it combines demon attacks and Shadowhunter politics with complicated family histories and relationships inherited from the earlier trilogy. Chain of Gold, Chain of Iron and Chain of Thorns form one continuous story and should be read in order.
