David Eddings's Malloreon is a five-book sequel to The Belgariad, returning to Garion, Belgarath, Polgara and many of their companions for a new journey driven by another prophecy. Guardians of the West begins after the earlier conflict has apparently been settled, but events soon force the characters across the world again through King of the Murgos, Demon Lord of Karanda, Sorceress of Darshiva and The Seeress of Kell. The books form one continuous story and should be read in order, after The Belgariad.
