David Eddings's Tamuli trilogy continues the story of Sparhawk and his companions after The Elenium. Domes of Fire sends them east to the Tamul Empire, where reports of ancient enemies, political unrest and supernatural attacks point to a new threat; The Shining Ones and The Hidden City continue the same campaign. The three books should be read in order and make considerably more sense after The Elenium, since the returning characters and their relationships are already established there. Like the earlier trilogy, this is traditional epic fantasy built around travel, military and court problems, magic and the easy banter of a group that already knows one another well. Read more Less
