Something not quite right? Let's sort it.
We know most orders on Readerama arrive exactly as they should — a good book, well packaged, from someone who loved it enough to pass it on. But every now and then, something goes wrong. Here’s what to do.
Your book hasn’t arrived First, check the estimated delivery window on your order confirmation — sellers post books themselves, so timings can vary a little more than you’d get from a big warehouse. If it’s gone past that window, you can email us support@readerama.com
Your book arrived damaged Take a couple of photos before you do anything else — of the book and the packaging it came in. Then email support@readerama.com with the photos and your order number.
Your book isn’t what you expected Secondhand books have character — a previous owner’s name inside the cover, a bit of shelf wear, a crease on the spine. Sellers are asked to describe all of this honestly in their listing, so a few signs of a well-loved book aren’t a fault. But if what arrived is genuinely different from the listing — wrong edition, wrong book entirely, condition significantly worse than described then email support@readerama.com with photos and your order number.
The golden rule: come and talk to us Buyers and sellers don’t message each other directly on Readerama, instead, our support team handles it, so nothing gets lost and everyone’s treated fairly. Email support@readerama.com with your order number and what’s happened, and we’ll take it from there.
