When you sell on Readerama, your money is handled by Stripe, the secure payment system we use to send earnings directly to your bank account. Your Stripe dashboard is where you can see it all.
What is the Stripe dashboard?
It’s your personal payments page, run by Stripe. It shows every payment you’ve received, what’s on its way to your bank account, and when it’s due to arrive. Think of it as the money side of your bookshop.
How do I get to it?
Head to “Stripe Payouts” in your Readerama account. Because Stripe handles sensitive bank details, you’ll sign in to Stripe directly. This keeps your information secure, as we never see or store your bank details ourselves.
What can I see there?
- Payments you’ve received from your book sales
- Payouts on their way to your bank account, and when they’ll arrive
- Your payout history, handy if you’re keeping records
When do I get paid?
When a buyer pays for your book, the money goes into your Stripe account straight away. Stripe then pays it out to your bank account once your balance reaches £20.
We’ve set it up this way to save you money. Stripe charges a small fee on each payout, so rather than sending lots of tiny payments with a fee taken from each one, your earnings build up and are sent across together. More of your money stays yours.
If you’ve sold a few books, you won’t wait long. And your Stripe dashboard always shows your current balance and when your next payout is due.
Something not right?
If your bank details have changed, you can update them yourself by logging in to your Stripe dashboard. And if a payment looks wrong or hasn’t arrived when expected, get in touch support@readerama.com and we’ll help you track it down.
